About BDSMTest.top

Why we built this BDSM test

BDSMTest.top gives adults role and preference scores without uploading their answers or presenting the result as a diagnosis.

Why this project exists

Many role quizzes mix attraction, identity, experience, behavior, boundaries, and safety knowledge into one result. This test asks only about present appeal. It scores giving and receiving separately, and keeps personal boundaries in a different private tool.

Current evidence status

Model 1.0.0 is not a validated psychometric instrument. Its numbers are role and preference scores for this set of answers. They are not diagnoses, population percentiles, or proof of identity.

The question model draws on published measurement approaches and professional material, but its eight dimensions and profile formulas are still provisional. The methodology page documents the formulas, thresholds, sources, and validation roadmap.

Editorial and review standard

Factual claims should trace to primary research, a systematic review, professional guidance, or clearly identified community professional material. Wikipedia is used only as a terminology map and citation lead. Competitor copy is not treated as evidence.

Independent expert review is planned but not complete. Until that work is documented, the site does not claim expert endorsement or formal validation.

Privacy standard

Questions, progress, scores, the optional Boundary Map, and generated images are handled in the browser. The site has no account system and no scoring API. A result summary leaves the device only after the user explicitly shares it.

Corrections and versioning

Material changes to questions, weights, thresholds, or the shared-link format receive a new version. Sources are scheduled for review at least every six months. The public GitHub repository provides a transparent record of code and model changes.
